Arturo is originally from Cuba and has been a tour guide for the last 20 years in his country of origin. In 2023 he joined the team of Bicycle Tours of Atlanta given his passion for sharing stories, meeting people, and providing a nice experience for those who love to engage in new adventures. He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish (as his mother tongue).

He graduated from Havana University in the study of languages. His knowledge of languages and desire for meeting people has helped him guide hundreds –if not thousands— both in his country of origin and now in his new Atlanta environment. He shares a passion for history, culture, and literature and is actively involved in learning more about his new surroundings. He also shares a passion for humor, something that led him to publish two books on the matter and he uses this skill to the benefit of those touring with him. “A day without laughter is a day lost” is his philosophy of life.

Arturo met Robyn in Cuba while she was touring Havana and connected on this idea of expanding his experience as a tour guide now in Atlanta
