couple months ago I was asked to write a piece in Southern Distinction all about the art scene here in Atlanta.And as a native Atlantan and an an avid cyclist, I figured that highlighting all of the spots that we hit on our “Street Art Bicycle Tour” would be the perfect way to do this. Just beneath the surface of the highly commercial institutions of Atlanta (“The Fox” “Woodruff Arts Center,” which, of course, are valuable in their on right) is something that I find to be far more dynamic and compelling. It’s where I discover the true and steady heartbeat of this city.
The arts scene in Atlanta has grown exponentially over the course of the last decade, and Bicycle Tours of Atlanta has a special and unique opportunity to showcase both local and global artists in a way that no one else can.
