COVID19 Bike Tour Safety Protocol
Come Roll With Us!
We hope you and your family have remained healthy and safe during the COVID crisis. At Bicycle Tours of Atlanta, we strongly believe bike riding is a great option to meet our basic need for fresh air and exercise, especially during these challenging times.
As we enter the second half of 2021, we are pleased to let our guests know that all our guides are fully vaccinated. When we become eligible for our booster shots, we as a team will step up to do our part to prevent the spread of the COVID. We hope you will do the same.
Until the threat of COVID-19 is gone, we will continue to disinfect all bikes, helmets, and water bottles for our guests. We do not require guests to wear a mask while they ride, but we do ask that our guests have a mask with them since we go indoors on our bathroom break.
We also ask that if you have not been fully vaccinated and/or you are not feeling well, please consider joining us another time. Be safe and take good care!
How We Are Preparing For Your Tour
Preparing for a bike tour during the 2020 COVID-19 crisis is very different than the way we have conducted business in the past. Please review the changes we have made to our protocol so you can determine if a bike tour is right for you and your family.
- Bikes are disinfected before every ride, focusing on handlebars and areas that our guests may touch.
- Helmets are disinfected before use and guests are more than welcome to bring their own.
- Bottled water and snacks are available to guests. However, guests can bring their own water bottle and snacks in an effort to minimize the spread of germs. Loose items can be carried in guide’s bike bag.
- Our tour cannot completely avoid areas where the public may gather, so please bring a mask with you in case we roll into a crowded environment.
